Welcome to Universal Exports: the home of James Bond, 007.
Universal Exports represents 23 years of web design history.
When the site was founded, there was no Google. If you wanted to learn about Bond's cinematic history, you went to a bookstore. If I needed a photo of Q or M on the site, I had to find one and scan it.
Back then, 007 fansites were few and far between: Nuvs' 007 Shrine, Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and Kimberly Laste's come to mind. As Bond grew in popularity over the rest of the 90's, the number of fan sites ballooned ... and faded, just as quickly.
For me, the site represents an incredible decade of personal growth as an artist and web designer. Between 1996 and 2006, it underwent dozens of redesigns, each of which represented a jump in either my skills or the capabilities of the Internet.
While the site hasn't been updated much since then, it remains an information rich 007 resources that has withstood the test of time. Plus, much like James Bond, Universal Exports returns every few years with some new articles, reviews, and more.
Stay tuned for the release of Bond 25, when big things are expected on the site. Until then, be to follow us on Facebook for all the latest news.
From Connery to Craig - movie dossiers, book reviews, exclusive interviews, editorials, SPECTRE and more - it's all here.
So, grab a martini, click around and catch up on six decades of 007.
